Took it out of storage hahah
Their names were Reggin and Bong and I think they were... supposed to be pirates? 

Since my old furries didn't really have species and were kind of just generic, lanky animu things with snouts and tails I redesigned them to be a Jerboa and a Laotian Rock Rat. They matched the fur colors I'd originally had for them as well which was great

Obviously still need to work on some things and I'm kind of iffy about it really feeling like 6 1/2 years of improvement, especially when I compare myself to others' memes like this >>

I dunno, I see a ton of improvement. If you see stuff wrong with it, just consider it incentive to keep practicing! :)
